Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Bridgette is the author of five books, Broken In Plain Sight, Destined to Live Healthier: Mind, Body, and Soul, Imagine Living Healthier: Mind, Body, and Soul, The Chip Maker: Prophecy of the Beast, and Yes! I Am Fed Up. Now What? 4 Self-Driven Steps to MOVE Your Well-being and Work Forward. She is featured in The Ultimate Runner by Ultimate HCI Books, publisher of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. Her story, "Never Give Up: My Journey to Become a Runner", transitioning from the sofa to the streets to become a marathon runner has inspired many to use running as their fitness option to get fit and stay fit.

Bridgette L. Collins, founder of Next Level HR Solutions, has more than 30 years of human resources experience in a variety of government settings where she has provided leadership over program areas such as compensation, employee relations, talent management, training, employee benefits, and risk management. In addition, Bridgette works with her clients on establishing workplace health and fitness programs.

Bridgette was inducted into the 2015 National Black Distance Running Hall of Fame for her community service in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. She is the recipient of the Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc Psi Chapter Dorethea N. Hornbuckle Business Entrepreneur Award, April 2, 2011. She is the winner of the 2012 Christian Literary Reader’s Choice Award (Fiction) for Broken In Plain Sight. She has written fitness articles for various publications. She has been featured in various publications and radio platforms.

In her spare time, she loves working out, running, speaking to individuals and groups about living healthier, inspiring individuals to be better versions of themselves, reading, submitting for acting opportunities, and acting when selected for a role.
