PATRICIA QAIYYIM was born in Michigan City, Indiana. She grew up in a large family and lived in several states throughout the Midwest. After high school, Patricia attended college for two years before joining the United States Air Force.

As a member of the Air Force, Patricia had the opportunity to work in several specialties as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Technician, a Military Training Manager, a Paralegal, and a First Sergeant. Her assignments included bases in Texas, Spain, Arizona, South Carolina, and Japan.

Patricia became a mom early in her military career and spent most of her career tackling both service and motherhood. Her husband was also a member of the United States Air Force. Together, they served more than forty-five years in the Air Force.

After retirement, Patricia worked as a contractor before deciding to professionally pursue her passion for writing. She published her first book in December 2022. She is currently working on a book of poetry and a companion book to her first book.

Besides writing, Patricia is an avid quilter and enjoys all things crafty. She also enjoys reading, cooking, baking, working with her hands, and spending time with her family. She considers herself a woman of faith, a true Renaissance, and a citizen of the world. She believes we should all strive to inspire, motivate, and educate others as we move through life.

Patricia and her husband have three children and two grandchildren. Published works include:
